The latest on the list: The CCP’s famous “wolf warrior” and the current (and a former) Foreign Minister #WangYi.
There are rumors that Wang Yi has been ordered to write a self-criticism at home, allegedly because he embarrassed #XiJinping at the #BRICSSummit2023. Do you remember Xi Jinping's interpreter being blocked by security personnel, leading to various embarrassing moments for Xi?
In my personal opinion, this rumor is likely true. The reason is that Wang Yi did not accompany #Chinese #Premier #LiQiang to the #G20India2023 and will not come to #NewYork for the annual #UN General Assembly.
Furthermore, #LiZhaoxing, the former Chinese Foreign Minister who has been retired for as long as 16 years and is now 83 years old, recently reemerged to represent the CCP at the 7th #China-Australia High-Level Dialogue. (See picture 2. Li Zhaoxing with Craig Emerson, the head of the Australian delegation and a former trade minister on Sep 7).
This suggests that there is a shortage of capable individuals in the CCP's diplomatic system.
I wonder if Xi Jinping might be reminiscing about his former Foreign Minister #QinGang, who was so attentive that he would count the steps of the museum staircases during Xi's overseas visits.
