The act of #SexualHarassment goes against our religious, cultural, and national values and is morally wrong. It goes against the principles we stand for in advocating for the rights of numerous Uyghur and other Turkic women who have suffered sexual abuse, rape, sterilization, and other forms of torture in China's detention camps and prisons as part of an ongoing genocide. We strongly denounce the instances of sexual harassment and abuse involving two individuals claiming to be Uyghur leaders, as detailed in recent investigative reports.
