US paid nearly $3 billion PER DAY of interest expense
Debt service cost hit its highest level since 2009
The US has paid an additional $150 billion of interest
US deficit has jumped by over $300 billion
US Federal tax receipts now down 8.4% on a 12-month basis

Trillions of Dollars of debt are being issued at 5%+ interest rates, nearly double the recent low.

Interest expense will soon be our biggest expenditure.

In CBA's loan book, 61% of all mortgage debt is held by households under the age of 45.

Yet the savings amassed by under 45s since the start of the pandemic range from barely registering to going backwards.
