Many historians believe that apart from the San people who exist in Southern Africa, the Twa people are the oldest in the world and have lived through countless experiences and historical events. Despite their age, they continue to be lucid and full of wisdom, sharing their stories with those who are willing to listen. Their knowledge is unparalleled, and they are revered by all who know them.
They are living legends, a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the power of resilience. The twa people are a living example of the importance of cherishing and respecting our elders, they hold the key to our past & future
The Twa People (also known as the pygmies because of their small size) is known as the oldest people on the planet and their history stretches back thousands and thousands of years (some researchers even say millions of years).
The Kemites admired the Twa people because of their wisdom & knowledge. The Twa people traveled the world and were masters at healing, making clothes & shoes.
Some of the Twa people even migrated to Ireland and distinguished their Sacred Centers, their knowledge of the herbs, and their relationship to nature. Their signs and symbols were upon their clothing, headdress, and their hair that looked like "snakes".
It is also said that they also wore a fez or headcover that depicted the symbol known as a Uraeus or cobra raised to strike, which is the same snake image you see worn by the Kings & Queens in ancient Kemet.
This culture was seen as "magical" to other people... But as years went by, it is said that the Romans summoned a guy by the name of Saint Patrick to Ireland to push Christianity. But after seeing the rich culture and spirituality of The Twa People, it is said that Saint Patrick resorted to killing and running the Twa people out of Ireland.
And For his decision to do so, he got called the "Saint" that ran out the snakes...Well since Ireland has no record of snakes after the Ice Age, we all know who he ran out...Be Enlightened and Let's celebrate the rich history of the Twa people.
Many ethnicities around Africa like the Igbo, Yoruba, Efik, Ibibio, Akan, Kongo, Kukuyi etc has one or more folklore about the Twa people. #Africa
