When I mentioned that I’d been treated with violence by police, the host said that they’d already gotten a police statement saying that I had not made a complaint against the offending officers. Well I was making complaints publicly all afternoon on multiple media outlets, and circulating footage from the scene? The fact that the police could state that “Vicky did not make a formal complaint” meant that they had seen my “informal” complaint? Isn’t the normal / humane thing to do here to be reaching out to @chen_yonglin and me with an apology instead of asking us to fill in more paperwork and wasting more of our time?
