Chinese truck driver met his Nepali wife when traveling in Nepal. His Douyin videos documenting their life enabled him to stay in Nepal for 1 year thru livestream income.

He took her back to China. 1 of their fan gave him 40,000 rmb ($5621) interest free loan to buy a used truck so he could provide for her. He made 800rmb ($112) in a day, minus 300 rmb for petrol, gained 500rmb ($70). He said he will be able to pay back the truck loan in 2 years.

He owns his own 2 bedroom apartment in 2nd tier city Changchun (Dongbei aka Manchuria). They took bus everyday to where he parked the truck because they don't have a car. When their video surfaced in my Douyin feed, I watched for the working class Chinese life in a 2nd tier city. He plan to take her all over China on his truck trip.
