Some netizens have dug up that Li Yixue was once a “little pink” and argue that she is undeserving of sympathy, claiming that her suffering is self-inflicted and well-deserved. However, I do not share this view. First, in my opinion, under the systemic brainwashing of the CCP, how many young people in China have not been “little pinks” at some point? The primary responsibility lies with the CCP. The “little pink” group itself is the biggest victim. Awakening happens sooner for some and later for others, but regardless of timing, it is worthy of respect. Second, even if Li Yixue were still a “little pink,” her rights should still be protected. “Little pinks” are human too. Their rights to life and their dignity as individuals should receive equal protection and respect. Let’s not use being a “little pink” as a point of contention! We have only one enemy, and that is the tyranny of the CCP!
