A viral post promoted by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and Russia are falsely claiming that French President Emmanuel Macron, UK Labour Leader Keir Starmer, and German politician Friedrich Merz were involved in a drug scandal during a diplomatic visit to Kyiv. The claim centers on a so-called “bag of white powder” allegedly seen in a video, suggesting it was cocaine and implicating Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

However, a closer look at the actual footage and photos reveals the object in question is a simple folded napkin or tissue on a table next to a glass, clearly not a bag of drugs. This fabricated narrative was debunked by multiple fact-checkers and is being amplified by known Russian and MAGA-aligned disinformation networks attempting to discredit Ukraine and its allies.

Zelenskyy has been a repeated target of baseless claims from pro-Kremlin sources and far-right conspiracy outlets like Infowars. This latest smear is just another example of coordinated propaganda designed to erode Western support for Ukraine.
