Air Defenses in Ukraine 🇺🇦 are needed specifically for Ballistic Missiles, Cruise Missiles, and Shahed Drones

1. Ukraine’s main system against ballistic missiles is America’s Patriot, equipped with PAC-3 missiles

The US 🇺🇸 has stopped sending PAC-3 missiles to Ukraine, stopping Ukraine’s ability to intercept Russian ballistic missiles

2. Ukraine’s most effective system to shoot down Shahed UAVs was the Vampire air defense system equipped with APKWS laser-guided rockets

The US stopped shipments of 20,000 APKWS rockets to Ukraine, which would have allowed a city like Kyiv to defend against Shahed drones for 6 to 12 months

3. Ukrainian F-16s commonly use AIM-7 missiles against cruise missiles and Shahed drones

The US stopped shipments of AIM-7 missiles to Ukraine, which would have allowed Ukrainian F-16s to intercept nearly 100 Russian cruise missiles and Shahed drones in June and July

4. Ukraine uses electronic warfare systems to jam Shahed drones before they strike their targets

The US has paused shipments of electronic warfare systems used for jamming drones to Ukraine

5. Ukraine’s most effective method of paralyzing Russian FPV drone operating bases, striking logistical hubs, and troops concentrations on the frontline is using HIMARS GMLRS

The US stopped shipments of over 250 GMLRS missiles for HIMARS in the past month, protecting over 1,000 Russian soldiers and hundreds of critical Russian targets from being struck

The Trump Administration is doing everything it can to help Russia be more successful in its daily air strikes and frontline advances in Ukraine 🇺🇦

There is no other conclusion that can be drawn other than that the current US administration personally despises Ukrainians and would like to see Ukraine disarmed and surrender its sovereignty to Russia.

The pause in critical ammunition and air defense shipments already approved and procured for Ukraine is excused by the White House because these munitions are needed against China. Which is nonsense because HIMARS GMLRS will not and cannot be used against China, AIM-7 is an old missile that is being replaced and retired by the US military, neither would 8,500 artillery shells be used against China, and 30 Patriot missiles won’t do much either. In the best case, the US should learn and improve the Patriot system in Ukraine to adapt to Russia’s advancement in the effectiveness of Iskander-M against Patriots. If the US does not constantly adapt the Patriot system in Ukraine to Russian ballistic missile modifications, then the Patriot system would not be effective against Chinese missiles in the future.

Instead of the US drastically increasing its production of missiles, ammunition, and air defenses and helping Ukraine defeat Russia so they can focus on China in the future, the US has thrown Ukraine and the rest of Europe under the bus and sabotaged their future foreign military orders. The US is showing itself to be an unreliable and incompetent foreign partner on the world stage and is now helping Russia destroy Ukraine and murder, innocent Ukrainian civilians. Putin’s bet that he would outlast the US support for Ukraine has proven to be true, and in Putin’s mind, allows Russia to continue and escalate the war against Ukraine for as long as they want, with no serious military or economic repercussions being imposed by the US.

@marcorubio @LindseyGrahamSC @PeteHegseth @SpeakerJohnson @StateDept @UnderSecStateP @UnderSecPD who claim to be supporters of Ukraine and Europe, and have a goal of stopping Russia, are now enabling Russia and prolonging the war by disarming Ukraine. In the long term, the US abandoning its partners and showing China that they can do the same with Taiwan 🇹🇼 and Putin that he can contribute to bomb Ukraine

It’s an embarrassment for America on the world stage, it shows that the US is weak and cannot be trusted as a reliable partner
