今天和朋友一起去了纽约中央公园刻有刘小波先生名字的长椅。献上了我们诚挚的问候。刘小波先生说过：表达自由，人权之基，人性之本，真理之母。封杀言论自由，践踏人权，窒息人性，压抑真理。
7月13日是先生的祭日,他是全世界唯一一个死在监狱里的诺贝尔和平奖得主，他曾发起了八九六四天安门绝食抗议，也是《08宪章》的起草者和签署者。他终其一生都在为了中国的自由民主而奋斗。 正所谓 “为众人报薪者，不可使其冻毙于风雪”！
我们不会遗忘他为了我们所做的奉献，更不会遗忘共产党对他所进行的迫害！Today, I went to the bench with Mr. Liu Xiaobo's name in New York's Central Park with my friends. We offered our sincere greetings. Mr. Liu Xiaobo said: Freedom of expression is the foundation of human rights, the basis of human nature, and the mother of truth. Blocking freedom of speech tramples on human rights, suffocates humanity, and suppresses truth.
July 13 is Mr. Liu's memorial day. He is the only Nobel Peace Prize winner in the world who died in prison. He initiated the Tiananmen hunger strike in 1989 and was also the drafter and signatory of the "Charter 08". He fought for freedom and democracy in China all his life. As the saying goes, "Those who pay wages for the public should not be allowed to freeze to death in the wind and snow"!
We will not forget his dedication to us, nor will we forget the persecution of him by the Communist Party!
