A leaked list of politically involved (overseas platform) personnel from within the Chinese Communist Party, after being organized and analyzed by the technical team of the China Human Rights Database, has been verified through random checks to consist of authentic data. In some cases, it even includes individuals’ foreign passport numbers, social security numbers, and addresses. It was also discovered that records of foreigners accessing the internet within China had been collected.

It is inferred that the cut-off point for the data collection and compilation was around 2018. The information appears to have been fully reported and aggregated by a designated unit in each province. After re-merging and organizing more than 20,000 records, the technical team produced a consolidated list containing 12,427 individuals.
