Germany just sent a man who worked as a top aide for an AfD politician who was accused of spying for China to jail.
Meanwhile, in Britain, the UK’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) decided NOT to proceed with charges against two men - one of whom literally worked as a parliamentary researcher and was director of the China Research Group - accused of spying for China.
The evidence against Chris Cash and Chris Berry is compelling.
They were due to go on trial this month for breaching the Official Secrets Act 1911 but now there will be no trial at all as the case was dropped.
Why, you may ask?
It’s because the legal threshold around whether or not China is an “enemy” for the purposes of the Official Secrets Act was not met.
The director of public prosecutions, Stephen Parkinson, said that securing a conviction would have entailed proving China was an “enemy” as stated in the Official Secrets Act.
So let me get this straight:
These two traitors will not face trial, and the UK government is now completely vulnerable to further espionage, all because China isn’t considered an “enemy state.”
The number of ways the UK continues to cuck itself is truly breathtaking.
