In May, zoologist Oleksii Vasyliuk visited the bottom of the former Kakhovka Reservoir nine times and recorded a huge number of nightingales and warblers.
"I have never heard so many nightingales at once anywhere else. This may be the largest nightingale forest in Europe," Oleksii Vasyliuk said.
