In China the technical legal age is 13 years old. Somehow shills are proud of the fact there is no Epstein style scandal in China but in actual fact, it happens daily. Just that the police doesn’t accept the case thus there is no criminal element.
In Yuncheng, Shanxi, a 13-year-old girl ran away from home after an argument with her family and stayed overnight in a friend's vacant rental apartment. As a result, she was targeted by Han, a 30-year-old man nicknamed "Black Bro," who worked at a local barbecue shop.
Han had prior convictions for rape and theft. He first offered the girl 888 yuan to sleep with him, but after she refused, he forcibly assaulted her. When she resisted, he beat her viciously. Afterward, he transferred 500 yuan to her through someone else and threatened that if she dared to report it to the police, he would retaliate against her entire family.
Terrified, the girl didn't tell anyone for a full 12 days. It wasn't until April 30, when she could no longer bear it, that she secretly confided in her brother's girlfriend. The family immediately took the child to Yaomeng Police Station to file a report.
Unexpectedly, the police refused to accept the case, citing unclear facts. The family took the girl to the hospital for evidence collection on their own and even had a bone age test done, confirming she was indeed 13. They ran around for more than half a month, and it wasn't until May 14 that they finally received an acknowledgment of case filing.
But later they learned that the police had already decided not to file the case as early as June 12, on the grounds that the girl often claimed to be older, and Han said he thought she was over 14 and that it was consensual. The family was outraged and just wanted justice, not a private settlement. After the brother posted the story online, it drew nationwide attention. Late on the night of June 22, the Yuncheng Public Security Bureau's Yanhu Sub-bureau formed a joint investigation team to review the case.
On June 24, the police officially filed the case, and the next day they criminally detained Han. The entire process dragged on for more than two months, with the girl forced to relive her traumatic experience over and over, the family running themselves ragged, and only public outcry finally pushing the filing forward. A 13-year-old child, who should have been focused on her studies, ended up enduring something like this just from one night away from home—it's truly heartbreaking.
