Kyiv did not just accuse Beijing. It sent the files.

Serial numbers. Traceable parts pulled from the wreckage of Kh-101 cruise missiles, Iskander ballistic missiles, and Shahed attack drones that flattened Ukrainian apartment blocks. Documented cases, not slogans. Vladyslav Vlasiuk, Ukraine's presidential commissioner for sanctions policy, told reporters that six months after Ukraine handed that dossier to the People's Republic of China (PRC), there has been "realistically no response."

Silence is the answer.

Vlasiuk reported this month that a single overnight Russian barrage on Kyiv carried roughly 35,000 foreign-made components. A leaked Russian call in April was blunter still: officials admitted 90 percent of drone components are foreign, and joked that even the plastic now comes from China. Ukraine says the Chinese share is not shrinking. It is rising.

Compare the responses. When Kyiv flagged parts from Dutch chipmaker NXP Semiconductors (NXP), the company and The Hague opened a channel. Vlasiuk says NXP components have nearly disappeared from Shahed drones. Beijing left the line ringing.

This is the pattern Beijing works hardest to hide. No smoking-gun shipment of finished missiles. Just a steady conveyor belt of dual-use electronics, chemicals, and now plastics feeding the machine that kills Ukrainians in their beds.

Zhongnanhai's line for foreign audiences is "peace and dialogue." The serial numbers pulled from Kyiv's rubble tell a different story. After six months of silence, that story is no longer deniable.
